Design of a supermarket food scale
Švancarová, Jana ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is to propose new modern design of a food scale, which are used in supermarkets. The final proposal should meet all functional, technological and aesthetic requirements for this type of device. The aim of the thesis is to adapt the overall shape and arrangement of individual components to suit different needs of users, particularly by appropriate ergonomics.
Risk Process Evaluation
Jakab, Robert ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Marušinec, Jaromír (advisor)
The first part of my work is focused on technology of Oracle. Here are mentioned individual languages, which works with data and different data types. Here is made clear manner, how are data saved in the database. Next I described technology of Apollo, on which information system Apollo is build. Next part of my work is analyze, in which is described present state of evaluation risk process and requests, which are layed on this module. Following chapter is implementation. There are described both database schema and by detail parts of module in a form of strips. Here is at large interpreted the way how to value risk and risk process. This chapter contains print reports for this module as well. The next chapter is dedicated to how module was brought to functioning. Except making this module running in information system Apollo is here a chapter about education of employees. In the closure I present evaluation of reached results, show next development and present my own benefit.
Simulation scenarios in NS2 demonstrating knowledge of BGP and multicast
Sobotka, David ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
Network simulation can be beneficial not only in solving problems while applying new standards or recommendations, but also primarily an aid in understanding and verifying knowledge of behaviour of communications protocols. The aim of the thesis is to create illustrative tasks in the simulation environment, Network Simulator 2 (NS-2), which are designed to verify the behavior of BGP and multicast. Created tasks are above all devoted to BGP, which is the cornerstone of routing information of all IP networks conglomerate, the Internet. The first two tasks designed for BGP use the implementation of ns-BGP and the remaining are based on the implementation of BGP++. The tasks verify both the function of basic attributes of the protocol, influencing the decision making process when routing information (AS_PATH, MED, LOCAL_PREF, WEIGHT), and furthermore the methods or parameters affecting the efficiency of the process of routing and a reduction of excessive network traffic (BGP confederation, routing, aggregation, MRAI). The last task regards multicast, more specifically the type of DM, which is a group of the so-called Dense Mode. The task illustrates how to join/leave groups and spread messages of types GRAFT and PRUNE under a constant data stream.
Waste flows modelling and assessment of their treatment
Kolátor, Matyáš ; Smejkalová, Veronika (referee) ; Pluskal, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the description, analysis and reconstruction of waste evidence. Nowadays, more and more emphasis is put on the issue of waste management and its efficient use. Legislation has set demanding targets for increased waste recovery and the development of a circular economy. In order to achieve these objectives, it is necessary to plan and organize the structure of waste management strategically. Important decisions in the field of waste management are based on data and the production and processing of waste. The quality of waste data has a major impact on the success of the process. The aim of this thesis is to describe the system of record, but also the possibilities of improving and reconstructing invalid data. The core of the work is the testing and improvement of a data reconciliation tool REVEDATO developed at the Institute of Process Engineering. The computational tool is based on the mathematical apparatus of data balancing, for which the correct definition of the weights is crucial, which will be the main subject of the work.
Morfologické srovnání nosorožce tuponosého a n. Cottonova
KUBÍKOVÁ, Pavlína
Annotation This bachelor thesis contains a morphological comparison of two species of white rhinoceroses (i.e. Ceratotherium simum and C. cottoni), which includes a comparison of unpublished weights and body measurements in respect to taxon, sex and origin (wild-born versus captive-born individuals). The thesis also contains an overview of their differences and similarities in morphology, distribution, ecology, and conservation. It summarizes basic information about the history of breeding of the Nile rhinoceros and information about Nasi - the only known hybrid between the two species - as well.
Weighted rearrangement-invariant spaces and their basic properties
Soudský, Filip ; Pick, Luboš (advisor)
In this thesis we shall provide the reader with results in the field of classical Lorentz spaces. These spaces have been studied since the 50's and have many applications in partial differential equations and interpolation theory. This work includes five papers. The first paper studies the properties of Generalized Gamma spaces. The second paper provides an alternative proof of normability characterization of classical Lorentz spaces. The third paper discusses conditions of linearity and quasi-norm property of rearrangement-invariant lattices. The following paper gives a characterization of normability of Gamma spaces. And finally the last paper characterizes the embeddings between GΓ spaces. 1
Eating disorders and smoking
Riabus, Daria ; Králíková, Eva (advisor) ; Pánková, Alexandra (referee)
This Bachelor Thesis is dealing with eating disorders caused by smoking. Thesis is divided into two main parts - theory and practice. The history of eating disorders, definition of each type of eating disorders, treatment examples and health complications of the disorder are covered in the first theoretical part. Also, there are disclosed the history of smoking, ways of treatment of the tobacco dependence and health consequences of smoking. At the end of the theoretical part there are discussions about the relations between smoking and weight, smoking and eating disorders, relapse of the disease when quitting smoking and about e-smoking among people with eating disorders. Practical part of this thesis contains of the research in a way of the survey. The questionnaire was made in two languages - Russian and Czech, in order to get greater amount of the respondents and to get more diverse answers. A link to the questionnaire was distributed by social media and web pages. Questionnaire was available to fill out from 13. 02. 2018 to 12. 03. 2018 and in total I received 101 respondents (54 for Czech version and 47 for Russian). The questionnaire was composed only for those people who have (or used to have) eating disorders and for those who smoke (or used to smoke) simultaneously. The outcome displays...

Cheb's trade in 16. century
Sečkař, Petr ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Ďurčanský, Marek (referee)
City of Cheb, lying on crossroad of old trade roads, gains by favor of czcech kings and roman emperors many privileges supports trade activity. Sixteenth century was period of trade prosperity of this region: silver was discovered in Joachimsthal and some new deposits of tin. Prosperous mining areas are source of prosperity even for near and farther neighbourhoods, and on main route from western Europe lies Cheb. Assumed prosperity of trade shoud make impact on prosperity of city inhabitants, even city as a whole. Goal of this work is to analyze city income books (Umgeldbücher) and qualify and quantify income from trade and proportion of this income in whole city income.
